Artist Statement – “Veil of Becoming” - a signature piece.

“Veil of Becoming” explores the space between who we have been and who we are in the process of becoming. Layers of color move in and out of clarity, revealing and concealing at once—like memory, like emotion, like healing.

The surface is intentionally unsettled. Pigment drips, softens, and dissolves into itself, mirroring the way we release, rebuild, and transform over time. There is no single focal point, because the experience is not linear—it is felt in fragments, in moments of emergence and surrender.

Light moves through the composition as both presence and absence. It is not forced, but discovered—rising through the chaos rather than overpowering it. This interplay invites the viewer inward, into a space that is both deeply personal and universally understood.

“Veil of Becoming” is not about arrival. It is about honoring the beauty in transition—the quiet, powerful unfolding of self.
